Professor Lawyer Giovanna Capilli
Born in Messina where she has bachelor’s degree in Law in 1996 with a vote of 110/110 and honors, dignity of the degree thesis.
She currently holds the role of Associate Professor of Private Law at the San Raffaele University of Rome and has obtained the qualification as Full Professor in 2017 (ASN 2016)
Titular professor of the private law course in the Degree Course in Administration and Organization Sciences, he is also Director and coordinator of the specialization course in Cyber-Security: Policy, Regulatory, and Technical Aspects at the San Raffaele University of Rome
She holds a PhD in Comparative Private Law and European Union Private Law and holds the position of Investigadora Asociata at the Cátedra Euroamericana de Protección Jurídica de los Consumidores at the Universidad de Cantabria in Santander (Spain).
Decentralized Trainer for the Higher School of the Magistracy (two-year period 2019-2021) – Territorial structure of Rome, she is also honorary judge at the regional Civil Court of Rome.
She is a member of the The Banking and Financial Ombudsman (ABF).
She is a lawyer, advocate in the Court of Cassation and in other Higher Jurisdictions.
She has participated as a speaker in numerous national and international conferences, and collaborates as an expert with national and international entities and research institutions.
Author of various monographs, articles and essays published in Italian and foreign reviews.
